I figured I'd let everyone know that I'm not going to be in class this week. I found out over the weekend that my
grandmother passed away. Her husband just passed in October, and she wasn't doing well to begin with, so this was sort of expected. But not expected quite this soon. Not for me anyway.
So I'm taking today to breathe and prepare for a few hard days. The wake is tomorrow, funeral is on Thursday. The weekend should give me time to move on and hopefully enough time for this ache in my chest to fade to the point where I can be useful in class discussion.
